       Hi, I’m Clare and I’m a Registered Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I am passionate about helping women have a positive birthing and breastfeeding experience.

I have been supporting pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers for over 20 years and have created my classes specifically to help you have an empowered mothering journey

I decided to make a short film with modern Irish mums talking about their own breastfeeding experiences because I want to share what a wonderful, positive experience breastfeeding can be.

In the early days of breastfeeding, it is normal for new mums to feel overwhelmed and find it challenging. Sometimes, this can result in women stopping breastfeeding before they really want to. My hope is that this film will help women see that with time and practice breastfeeding will get easier and ultimately will become a pleasure and a joy for them and their baby.

 The six mamas in the film all volunteered their time to describe unscripted their own breastfeeding journeys, the ups and downs they experienced and what breastfeeding means to them. I hope you enjoy watching it.
